Graphic Designer Wanted
Private Canadian Educational Institution requires Graphic Designer for contract work on promotional materials for an International Marketing platform.
Key Responsibilities :
- Work with the client to define needs and develop designs that carry out clients marketing objectives
- Deliver creative, brand-enhancing designs
- Design and implement educational promotional materials such as brochures, logos, web graphics, headers, site forms, banners, and various others
- Graphic design for print advertising, multimedia and splash screens may also be required
- Background in web design considered an asset
- Ability to manipulate text in a language other than English (such as: Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Turkish, Japanese or Spanish) is considered an asset
- Work from your home/office diligently as many projects are time sensitive
Required Skills and Experience
- Knowledge of generally accepted principles and practices of graphic design
- Ability to create graphic materials using a range of media, methods, techniques and industry standard software
- Familiar with all the core software and specifically InDesign, PhotoShop, Illustrator & Acrobat.
- Ability to identify and interpret graphic design needs and develop creative deliverables in response
- Must have an established portfolio
- All candidates are required to attach a design portfolio showcasing the above
- High level of professionalism and a team player committed to meeting deadlines without sacrificing quality
