Job Description:
ICF International is seeking a Business Process Management developer for the Technology and Management Solutions Group. This position requires management consulting perspective and experience with defining and developing Business Process Management (BPM) solutions. The Business Process Management Developer will work with project managers to support the Martinsville Operations Center BPM solution based on Handysoft BizFlow. Responsibilities and project tasks will change over time. This position will be located in Martinsville, VA, and may require occasional travel to the Fairfax, VA office as well as client meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop enterprise business process solutions to support the Martinsville operations center
Work individually or on development team to deliver BPM solutions using Handysoft BizFlow as well as SQL and XML technologies
Develop an understanding of the operations center processes and procedures and assist with making improvements relative to technology
Design and develop application prototypes, utilities, and solutions across multiple environments using full life-cycle methodologies (requirements definition, design, development, testing, and implementation)
Participate in internal design reviews and code reviews
Generate system documentation including requirements specifications, use cases, user manuals, and training materials
Produce design documentation including wireframes, process flow diagrams, class diagrams, sequence diagrams, physical architecture, system and web services interface specifications, data dictionary and data model, etc.
Develop application test plans and perform unit and system testing activities
Assist with and provide input to implementation plans and operational plans
Support users through training, as well as provide one-on-one technical assistance
Basic Qualifications:
BA/BS in a related field
2+ years of professional experience
2+ years of web development using CSS and Javascript
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Experience developing BPM solutions for the Handysoft BizFlow platform
Experience with internet related architectures and web services applications
Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) process and industry best practices
Understanding of project and configuration management practices
Experience in the development of standard system documentation including requirements specifications, use cases, design specifications, user guides, test plans and test scripts
Experience with testing software, tracking issues and working with developers to ensure that requirements are being met
Demonstrated ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects to meet goals, deliverables, and deadlines
