Online Calendar System (Hamilton)
I am looking for online software program for an online appointment booking system. A link will be added to a website that leads to the calendar for clients to book appointments online with service providers. The client would set up a username and password, book the appointment. The system will then email the client email reminders and or text message reminders. The service provider will also be able to mass mail the clients promotions and messages.
I want this to be able to be sold to multiple users who pay a monthly subscription fee to be able to use the system.
There is a system I can show you as an example to basically clone some of the operations but not the look. This system is halfway programmed already but I don't like the direction it is going in. Maybe use what is already created to build on, or start from scratch? Not sure which is easiest.
Students welcome. UX experience would be an asset. This is freelance work, not full time.

Web designer, pay $300-2000, no coding required (Southern Ontario)
Job:
Design 10-15 web pages for mediaspot.me's new site and slice them as CSS files. We can handle the coding. While we have a good sense of what we want based on the detailed mockups we will provide, we nonetheless want suggestions. We need a creative mind to bring it all together. The right person will have a lot of creative space to work and as much or as little guidance as desired.
Pay:
Between $300-2000 depending on the scope of the project and what skills you bring to the table.
Musts:
An eye for contemporary UX/UI/web design. Some previous web design experience (even well developed school projects will be considered).

Magento/WordPress Designer (Burlington)

Can you make Magento and WordPress sites look good? Really good?
We're a small web application/website dev shop in Burlington (Burloak & QEW, 20min walk from Appleby GO station) and we need someone that can create wicked designs using HTML and CSS. Extra points for not being afraid of PHP. Extra points for wanting to use a Mac.
You've probably made a little business out of helping people make websites based on your ability to do this but come work for us instead. Forget about cranky clients and not getting paid on time... or worrying about where the next pay cheque is going to come from. Focus on what you love doing... design!
