Core Modules:
Current Main Modules we are using are the following. We are looking for a developer that has experience and familiarity with developing E-Commerce focused custom modules that interact or relate to these modules.
Drupal 6:
Ubercart
UC Marketplace
Paypal Adaptive Payments
Etc. . . (In additional we are using about another 60 standard modules but the above list is main functionality of the site.)
Small list of what we are looking to develop over the next number of months.
1. Shipping: More advanced shipping other than a flat rate. We are looking for the integration of UPS, USPS, Fedex. While they integrate with Ubercart they do not interface with UC Marketplace.
2. Bulk Import: Better solution of modification to existing solution for Bulk Import of products for individual Sellers.
3. Payment Alternatives: Possible payment alternatives other than Paypal for the customers on checkout.
This is just to give you an idea of the type of work we are looking for in the next number of months. While much of the work or modules we are looking to be developed are based on Ubercart / Marketplace many of the modules required may not be related directly. They relate to Views, Taxonomy, Profile, etc.. Although, the understanding of E-Commerce is the core of our business so important to understand and have worked on E-Commerce or Drupal Ubercart websites in the past.
The ideal candidate we are looking for has a deep understanding of Drupal Modules in general although a more advanced understanding of Ubercart and UC Marketplace and modules that are E-Commerce related. Although not limited to.
