I am looking for some devlopment and programming help for my website ExceptionalSheets.com. It is a relative startup but already has >$250K in sales. The CMS host is prostores (owned by eBay). Compensation is negotiable and based on experience and results. A long term partnership is preferred.

The Web Developer/Programmer would provide web technical support and programming, develop web content according to established style and standards, and utilizes best-case programming methods and usability practices to enhance end-user experience.
The position has responsibility for monitoring websites for outdated information, expired pages, broken links, and technical problems, along with troubleshooting difficulties and preparing solutions. This position would create and maintain database applications, write programming code for back-end functionality of CMS, stay abreast of new technologies and techniques to support evolving needs, and examine current trends in web, usability, and best-practice methods for creating web sites. Time constraints and project deadlines are of significant importance.
A bachelor's degree in computer science or computer information systems with previous web development and programming experience is preferred but anyone with significant experience will be considered.
Proficiency with .NET, ASP, CSS, HTML, Javascript, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office Suite is required. The Web Developer/Programmer must also have strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to work independently, concern for detail and accuracy in programming and in how information is represented on web sites, and abilities to work effectively with diverse personnel who possess varying levels of technical proficiencies. Previous experience in academic computing or communications environment preferred, and knowledge of Umbraco or other similar content management systems is highly desirable.
