How to upload images with media manager?
Use this Joomla tutorial to upload images to use in your website.
Before you can insert images into the editor, you first have to upload your images from your local computer to your server. The tool that is used to do that is the Media Manager.
1. From the Joomla Administrator menu, choose Site > Media Manager.
2. Click the folder icon above "stories" .
3. Use the "Browse" button to browse to the image you want to upload.
4. Click the "Upload" icon in the upper right.
When you open the stories directory you will see 2 directories that are created by default, Food and Fruit. Inside of these directories are images that Joomla gives you by default. If you want to clean up the stories directory you can delete both the food and fruit directories.
